Technology & Enterprise

Technology and Enterprise, or T&E, has broad offerings for students covering both practical and theoretical assessments. Students can choose from the following pathways:
General Material and Design Technology – Metals
General Material and Design Technology – Wood
General Children Family and Community
General Food Science and Technology

Material Design and Technology - Metals OR Wood context, give students hands on experience working within the design process to manufacture products in our purpose built facilities. Our workshops are fitted out with industry standard equipment and tools and allow the students the ability to gain the skills and knowledge to prepare them for the work force.

The Children Family and Community course focuses on the context of Independent Living. Students look at factors that influence human development and the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities. Students explore the protective and preventative strategies that impact on growth and development.

The Food Science and Technology General course provides opportunities for students to explore and develop food-related interests and skills. Students organise, implement and manage production processes in a range of food environments and understand systems that regulate food availability, safety and quality. They also study within the contexts of nutrition, food preservation and the manufacture of innovative food products.
